No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? As it is written: “For your sake we face death all day long we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered. Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died-more than that, who was raised to life-is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all-how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. And those he predestined, he also called those he called, he also justified those he justified, he also glorified. ![]() For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the likeness of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers. “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. No one whose hope is in you will ever be put to shame, but they will be put to shame who are treacherous without excuse.” – Psalm 25:2-3Ģ. Do not let me be put to shame, nor let my enemies triumph over me. Honor their victims today with this scripture:ġ. The attacks claimed the lives of 2,996 people, including the 19 terrorists. It is believed the intended target of Flight 93 was either the White House or the Capitol Building. United Airlines Flight 93 was headed toward Washington, D.C., but was crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania after passengers overtook the hijackers. American Airlines Flight 77 was crashed into the Pentagon in Arlington County, Virginia. Four passenger airliners were hijacked by 19 al-Qaeda terrorists with the intention of flying them into landmark buildings.Īmerican Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 were flown into the North and South towers of the World Trade Center complex in New York City. On September 11, 2001, four coordinated terrorist attacks against the United States forever changed the course of history. On this day, we honor the lives of the people who died in this act of terror with inspirational words of strength from scripture.
